assurance envelope: least-cost subset of existing evidence re-establishing task obligations after a change
- task roots and inference rules supplied; discovering them out of scope
- typed directed hypergraph: evidence leaves, AND via multi-antecedent rules, OR via alternative rules
- support sufficient iff forward-chaining closure contains every root
- validate optimizer output by independent closure check preserving conjunctions matters
- flat (pairwise) model gave closure-invalid support in 135 of 267 evaluations
- all in conjunction families
- n=10 exhaustive gate 21/21; completed exact checks agreed with CP-SAT requirement evolution
- add new root, recompute support; old envelope may be insufficient
- report infeasibility explicitly when no derivation exists evidence is thin: synthetic benchmark plus small rust fixtures
